Good Day
The horizon leans forward,
Offering you space to place new steps of change.
Here, on the pulse of this fine day You may have the courage
To look up and out upon me, the Rock, the River, the Tree, your country.
No less to Midas than the mendicant.
No less to you now than the mastodon then.
Here on the pulse of this new day
You may have the grace to look up and out
And into your sister's eyes, intoYour brother's face, your country
And say simply
Very simply
With hope
Good morning

RPT Special Edition: Give it What You Got
Tired of partisan bickering? Want to see Americans truly united? Put these guys on stage, turn up the volume, and break off the knob.
For your consideration: A post-debate, pre-election return to sanity. Seriously, try not to like this.

Doctor's Note
To Whom it may Concern,
Please excuse the Doctor for his recent prolonged absence. He was suffering from rather severe bouts of nausea and vertigo as a result of the extreme ridiculousness of the Democratic primary race. Seriously, between Hillary praising Fox News (praising them!?!? For Christ's sake already...) and her promise to "nuke" Iran, coupled with the attacks on Obama for being an "elitist" because he dared to point out that poor people may be a tad, shall we say, "peeved," and that even though she has won less states...and delegates...and votes she still is railing away at all those who doubt her, and consitering the fact that it has been nearly one entire year since the very first of the Democratic Candidates debate and we still do not have a conclusion to this ever-expanding train-wreck....
Excuse me. I was feeling faint there with the taste of metal in my mouth.
Anyway, pardon his silence. Everything is OK now.
