Crazy Uncle Olaf

When President Reagan was dropping bombs into this guy's breakfast nook in 1986, who would have ever believed that it would be Khaddafi not only ranting on and on in front of the U.N. 23 years later, but also that our big friend and ally of the time would be the one pushing up sand?

Also, do you think that there is an international standard for crazy among neighbors in the Middle East? You know, something along the lines of:
I must tell you, Khaddafi may be a crazy habib, but he is no Ahmadinejad. No sir. That one is daffy.
And if there is such a standard, where does Venezuela fall in line?
(thanks honey!)
